Like each of you, I am sifting through life's ups and downs, finding beauty and joy in pain and heartbreak. I spend my time reading books for enjoyment, perspective, and growth. I am an avid therapy-advocate and participant, which I use to guide my practice. I am recently married, a Michigan State University Spartan, a foodie and a newly identified crafter. I enjoy sarcasm, cracking jokes, and deep conversations about the meaning of life.
My practice is guided by the belief that we heal in connection with others and when we become aligned, aware and attuned to the wisdom of our bodies.
I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. Our mission is to help individuals navigate the complexities of life, offering support for both the beautiful and brutal moments.
I believe that each of us has the wisdom and strength to heal from wounds, whether they be from our family of origin, interpersonal relationships or cultural and societal pressures.

If you find yourself craving change, desiring a shift in your perspective of the world or struggling to move through a challenging or traumatic situation, therapy may offer you the space to do so. If you are working through or adjusting to life changes, conflicts in your relationships or experiencing grief, therapy may offer you insight into healing. Therapy is not limited by experience, trauma, situation or circumstance, If you find it difficult to set goals and achieve them, therapy may help. I truly believe that we all can benefit from taking an uninterrupted hour to focus on ourselves and our state of well-being.
My therapeutic approach is guided by my professional and personal experience. Bringing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, embodiment and mindfulness practices, internal family systems (IFS), self-compassion and loving kindness, motivational interviewing and play into sessions. My own personal therapy journey has helped guide how I show up for clients in a human-centered, human-first approach, practicing non-judgement and radical acceptance.
I have my bachelor's and master's degree in social work from Michigan State University and have completed my training to become a fully licensed clinical social worker (LMSW). I am a certified health and well-being coach trained by Wellcoaches. I have worked in emergency medicine, treating children and adults as they receive care in physical and mental health crises. I have supported clients walking through their cancer journey as well as children experiencing trauma and body-image challenges. My clients see me to work through anxiety, depression, difficulty coping and adjusting to life changes, navigating relationships and uncovering unhealed experiences and trauma.
